How to create a “If field A is empty then get B” rule?>
Sometimes you may want to add an attribute value if another attribute value is empty. You can do it with the dynamic attribute feature. This feature is only available in CTX Feed Pro.
For example, Let’s say you have 5 products on your site. Among those 5 products, 2 of them have both descriptions & short descriptions and another 3 don’t have their short description, only have the description. In this case, you may want to add a short description into the feed for those products which have a short description else add the description.
add a short description into the feed for those products which have a short description else add the description.
To make the above condition, follow the steps below:
- Make a Dynamic Attribute from Woo Feed > Dynamic Attribute according to the below screenshot.
- Go to the feed configuration page and clear the plugin cache.
- You will find the Dynamic Attribute in the product attribute list on the feed configuration page. Look at the Dynamic Attributes option group you will see the DA_Description attribute here. Just select it and generate the feed file.
