Product Manager (Intern)

What You Will Learn

• Learn about various PM responsibilities like creating strategy and roadmaps, feature and bug prioritization, advocating for customers, etc
• Prepare, maintain, and evangelize the product roadmap and propose an overall product budget to ensure success
• Conduct competitive market research – understand where gaps, risks, and potential opportunities
• Establish requirements based on market trends, analytics and research customer needs
• Take ownership of projects from start to finish, including new feature development, internal business systems and process improvements
• Working in conjunction with product management, Development & Documentations
• Act as liaison between Sales, Client Services, Marketing Support, and Technology teams
• Collect, organize and synthesize internal and external feedback and help translate them into business opportunities
• Coordinate and participate in quality assurance testing efforts
• Use empathy to understand and meet user needs
• Define and prioritize user stories

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of SDLC
• Basic knowledge of web development platforms, databases, and infrastructure
• Great communication skills
• Proficiency in English
• Curiosity and desire to learn and grow skills
• Hard worker and passionate
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Bonus points:

• Competitive Programming Experience
• Linux hosting environment, and shell command line familiarity
• Familiar/involved with open source projects
• Involvement with any kind of tutorial platform
• Love to explore and use new technology
• Computer-literate in Windows, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
